iHost Networks Launches Privacy Protection Services

New Service Protects Domain Information from Spammers and Telemarketers

(PRWEB) January 16, 2005 -- iHost Networks today announced the launch of its new Privacy Protector services. The service enables iHost Networks customers to hide their whois information from spammers and telemarketers. The conventional whois information displayed by registrars is often accessed and abused by both of these groups. With the new service, whois contact information is changed regularly, but maps to the customers real information. By the time spammers and telemarketers can add the information to their databases, its been changed and is useless to them.

John Norton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for iHost Networks said, This is a service our customers will really appreciate. We will continue to work hard to find new ways to protect their privacy and shield them from unwanted solicitation."

The Privacy Protector feature is available on all of iHost Networks branded services. The cost for the service is $15 annually.
