Whitehouse Station, NJ (PRWEB) January 17, 2005 -- Tamba, known for their unique, simple and fresh handcrafted jewelry designs, announced today that their 'Nature in the Rough jewelry collection will be launched in the Handmade section of the New York International Gift Fair being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City between January 29 -- February 2, 2005.

The 'Nature in the Rough jewelry collection includes original sterling silver designs that range from organic and unique to modern and fresh featuring hand-hammered natural semi-precious gemstones including rose quartz, citrine, aquamarine, grossular garnet, bronzite, chalcopyrite, ruby and peridot. The collection also consists of oxidized sterling silver combined with volcanic lava beads.

Designer and managing partner Wanda Kuprienko says, Colors, texture, shapes, and organic feel dominate this work." The collection provides an urban look for sophisticated consumers and is achieved using ancient techniques.

A number of Wandas designs are created by incorporating unique and ancient gold and silversmithing techniques including granulation, reticulation, keum boo, married metal, chasing and repoussé. Several other collections are based on high quality and rare gemstones combined with handmade and textured sterling silver chains.
