POBox Hosting Rescue UK 1and1 Customers

UK based customers of 1and1 have been dropped from Googles regional search results. This is due to 1and1 using non UK based IP addresses for their hosting. POBox Hosting have offered all 1and1 customers a free migration path during January to UK based IP's to help restore their former positions within Google.

(PRWEB) January 20, 2005 -- Following the reconfiguration of Google's search to only include sites with UK based IP addresses in it's UK only search results. POBox Hosting has arranged for an easy migration path for customers hosted with 1 and 1 Internet.

All UK customers of 1 and 1 Internet have overnight disappeared from UK searches due to 1 and 1's decision to use non UK IP address ranges.

Tim Poultney, Managing Director at POBox Hosting stated. "We are here to support UK business, and to allow them a quick and easy migration of their webservers to a UK based company. This will enable them to become re-listed by Google's regional index as soon as possible. We appreciate that being listed effectively by Google is a very high priority for most UK business using the web as a source of obtaining customers. We are here to help them achieve that".

In an effort to support such companies POBox Hosting have removed the usual setup fee associated with the signup process.
