Women Helping Women Calendar Released Women employed in a non-traditional or blue-collar trade are celebrated in a 2005-6 calendar just released by Youth Organization of Generation 2000. The calendar, featuring Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, celebrates accomplishments of women around the world. Grayson, LA (PRWEB) January 22, 2005 -- Women employed in a non-traditional or blue-collar trade are featured in an 18-month calendar just released by Youth Organization of Generation 2000. "The Women Helping Women Calendar celebrates accomplishments of women around the world," states Alicia Bradley, Director of Generation 2000. "By helping women take a greater view of women in industry, we can create a bonding that will nurture women from all walks of life."
"We are especially pleased with Governor Kathleen Blanco's participation," continues Bradley. Her photo is included in the calendar." Blanco is Louisiana's first woman governor.
"We are selling the 18-month calendars for $10 each with a bonus of an extra six months for free," explains Bradley. The "18-month" calendar runs from January 2005 through December 2006. Profits will benefit the Youth Organization of Generation 2000, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth. Services of Generation 2000 include a youth shelter, mentoring programs, a national anonymous crisis line, tutorial centers, a disabled student work program, summer camps and more.
