Columbus Singles Beat the Valentine's Blues by Meeting Others at a Happy Hour Party Benefiting Local Charity

Singles of all ages are welcome to join us for 'Singles in the City, a fun and upbeat Valentines Happy Hour Party benefiting MAP (Material Assistance Providers). The event will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005, from 5:00 -- 8:00 PM at the Winking Lizard Tavern in the Crosswoods Area.

Map turns empty houses into homes for those families who are moving from difficult situations. Support from this event can help give a child a bed to sleep in at night.

Park Place for Singles is an organization that provides Columbus Singles with an environment to meet, socialize and network with others in a variety of fun activities and events. As an organization with a social conscience, volunteer and charitable activities such as this Valentines Happy Hour are also incorporated into the organizations calendar of events.

The Winking Lizard Tavern is a great place to go when looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It is known for their infamous 'World Tour of Beers offering over 100 varieties of beer from all over the world and a full menu of signature appetizers, light bites and dinner entrees. Tickets for the Event are $4 per person in advance or $6 at the door. Purchasers of advance tickets will be placed in a drawing for 10 free raffle tickets -- a $30 value.
