VOIP for WISPs -- Is This Sticky Enough?

VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is a new way of making virtually free or low cost telephone calls without MA Bells involvement -- calls are placed, routed, and carried over broadband connections without touching the phone companys switches. PC to PC calls are free through numerous software clients (soft phones). VOIP calls to traditional the worlds wired phones are possible at extremely low rates -- two cents a minute or unlimited minutes for a flat rate, for example. The long distance companies, local phone companies, and even cable companies are offering VOIP based calling, long distance, fax lines, and even primary telephone service using VOIP technology.

Tony Surak joins Wireless Tech Radio to discuss not only why wired and wireless ISPs should offer VOIP services (customer stickiness & retention, higher ARPUs), hell also discuss the ways to implement them.
