The Viewpoint Creative team worked closely with AETN International providing them with creative development of the entire on-air package; starting with the conception of network names and logo designs, all the way through network IDs, opens, bumpers, and lineups.
Viewpoint Creative Designer, Jonathan Ouellette comments, Our main focus, from a design standpoint, was developing a series of metaphoric and easily recognized icons that supported the networks core programming. It was essential that the package could be easily understood across multiple cultures and languages."

A distinctive look for the network was created with a dramatic color palette and a library of symbolic imagery. Simple yet dramatic images composed of physical objects and visual effects provide visual metaphors to crime, investigation and mystery.
The complete package included logo design, on-air packaging, and a disc-based production toolkit for a total brand integration. Crime & Investigation Network launched in Australia on January 1 on Foxtel DIGITAL, and will launch later in 2005 in the U.S.
