(PRWEB) February 7, 2005 -- Read Aloud Please, Inc. invites K-1 Georgia teachers to a comprehensive hands-on reading workshop with extraordinary presenter, Joy Crawford, an outstanding teacher, nationally known children's author and workshop presenter. Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be served. Lots of prizes for the classroom and Lakeshore gift certificates given. The Workshop Benefits : K-1 teachers will be able to actually make the books that can enhance reading instruction.
A demonstration will be given to increase teachers ability to excite students about reading using brain compatible literary strategies. Essential state required reading skills and exciting classroom-proven strategies to reinforce phonemic awareness will be presented. Hands-on ideas for meeting the Georgia State Standards will be given along with a take home resource book with more activities.
Location will be Timber Ridge Conference Center 5601 North Allen Road SE Mableton, Georgia on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participation certificates will be presented to all attendees.
