Somerville, MA (PRWEB) February 6, 2005 -- Mr. Willoughby has always hated that commercialized cult of cupidity" known as Valentine's Day. As one of the founders of Davis Square's only commercial art gallery, he has decided to hold an anti-Valentine's Day Party on February 14th from 6-9pm.
Visitors to the party will dine on dark bitter chocolate, and feast on sour grapes while listening to the blues. The party is open to the public, and participants are encouraged to bring their voodoo dolls. The gallery will feature landscape painting by artists Ursula Spont and Meredith Garniss to help party goers momentarily escape the onslaught of red heart doilies.
Willoughby and Baltic Fine Arts features frequently changing art exhibits by local artists, and offers both adult and youth art classes. Shows change every two weeks due to Mr. Baltic's attention deficit disorder, so art lovers are encouraged to check back often.
