Rich Vos and Paul Bond Headline FDNY Bravest Night of Comedy Benefitting Widows and Children of FDNY Members

Queens NY March 31st 2005 8pm at Queensboro College, Funny NYC Firefighters along with professional comedians take the stage for the 6th Annual NY's Bravest Night of Comedy to benefit the Thomas Elsasser Scholarship Fund. RICH VOS from Last Comic Standing seasons 1 & 3 along with PAUL BOND from Opie & Anthony are donating their time and talent to this fundraiser and headlining the show for FREE. The Thomas Elsasser fund is for widows and children of firefighters who die non line of duty. When a firefighter makes the supreme sacrifice while working his family will be taken care of financially by the city. If a firefighters just passes away the pain and suffering are the same but the benefits are drastically reduced. Back in 1997 Firefighter John Halverson was jogging on the track at Cnetereach HS when a derangged teenager walked up to him and shot John in the chest. At the time of his death John Halverson had 2 years on the job and his wife Randie was pregnant with twins. This fund will assure that children like John & Randie Halverson's twin girls and many others like them will get a good education. Tickets are $20 and available at the Box Office (718) 631 6390
