IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion to Launch Workforce Performance Survey: More Value Added to IHRIM Membership Because HR technologies are at the nexus of HR and training technologies, HR technologists are often the catalyst for cooperative initiatives between HR and Training departments. Through this survey, IHRIM will help its members elevate the conversation beyond systems to that of business performance, integration, and enterprise-wide collaboration in the pursuit of higher levels of performance. Burlington, MA (PRWEB) February 9, 2005 -- The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) and Knowledge Infusion have partnered to launch a new workforce performance survey that will explore the relationship between human capital management strategy and business performance. Knowledge Infusion has specialized knowledge of workforce performance issues and how strategic HCM and learning applications can be mapped to the unique needs of organizations. The survey will be delivered this February to IHRIM members through the IHRIM Web site and the results will be available on the site, through seminars, chapter presentations, and in various IHRIM publications.
Because HR technologies are at the nexus of HR and training technologies, HR technologists are often the catalyst for cooperative initiatives between HR and Training departments. IHRIM is pleased to be in the position to help its members elevate the conversation beyond systems to that of business performance, integration, and enterprise-wide collaboration in the pursuit of higher levels of performance. The results of the survey will help members understand their role in transforming HR and training into functions that directly support and are measured by operating metrics and financial results," said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM president and CEO.
By fully leveraging strategic human capital management (HCM) and learning technologies, organizations have the opportunity to improve their operational and financial business performance," added Jason Averbook, Knowledge Infusion co-founder and chief executive officer. As HR and learning departments continue to adopt common goals and systems, companies require expertise in both to create a comprehensive, performance-based strategy that meets the needs of the enterprise."
The primary goals of the new workforce performance survey are to: · Develop a community of practice around the theme of workforce performance; · Understand IHRIM members current thinking on and experience with the topics of HCM and workforce performance; · Gauge the level of interest and experience IHRIM members have with learning and development technologies and practices; and, · Understand which workforce performance topics IHRIM members are most interested in.
