Survey Shows Significant Growth in the UK of Senior Management Internet Job Boards

Brian Varley - Managing Director of Executivesontheweb.com comments on a recent survey of over 1000 executives which identified a number of trends within the online executive recruitment marketplace.

(PRWEB) February 17, 2005 -- Brian Varley - Managing Director of www.executivesontheweb.com comments on a recent survey of over 1000 executives which identified a number of trends within the online executive recruitment marketplace.

One of most important findings from the survey found that a number of executives using the internet as a primary source to find their next career move had significantly increased compared with a similar survey carried out in 2003.

The survey also found an increasing number of executives preferred applying for jobs through the internet rather than print media advertising due to its convenience, availability and ease of access.

During the last twelve months www.executivesontheweb.com has seen a 300% increase in the number of senior management appointments listed and also a similar increase in the number of candidate registrations and job applications.

The most interesting feedback from the survey indicated that executives who are currently using the internet for career progression, will in future look for executive job boards offering specialist services alongside senior management and executive jobs.

Varley firmly believes that the trends in the survey will continue through 2005.
