"Celebrate Life" Foundation Launches Bracelet Campaign

Drive to build "healing house" for adults bolstered by colorful bracelets.

Westwood, MA (PRWEB) February 18, 2005 -- Add another color to the yellow bracelets appearing on millions of wrists across the country -- purple.

Light purple bands inscribed with the words, Celebrate Life" are now available from the Rosemarie Tocci Celebrate Life" Foundation, Inc., which is raising money to build an adult healing house for cancer patients in the Greater Boston area. When completed, the Rosemarie Tocci Celebrate Life Center will fill a role similar to that which the Ronald McDonald Houses fill for children, serving as a temporary residence for adults undergoing cancer treatment. Patients, along with their spouses and families, will come to the Celebrate Life Center to recover and recharge. Instead of traveling long distances or staying in a hotel, patients and families will be able to relax in a low-stress, home-like setting.

The center will be named in honor of Rosemarie Tocci, who lost her own battle with cancer in 2003. It was Rosemaries dream to create a haven for people to heal, rest and recover," said John Nardozzi, a partner with the accounting firm of Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP, Westwood, MA, who serves as chairman of the Rosemarie Tocci Foundation.
