Inspired by Her Journey through Cancer, this Survivor Found Her "Silver Lining" and Created a Unique Jewelry Collection to Raise Funds for Research.

Silver Linings~by Us offers a unique, beautiful collection of handcrafted jewelry, designed and created by a breast cancer survivor and her sister. Every piece serves to acknowledge, honor and give hope to those touched breast cancer and cancer.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 19, 2005 -- For those touched by cancer, each piece of this unique collection serves as a cherished, beautiful reminder of their journey. Even people not touched by cancer have found these lovely pieces compliment their wardrobe, while showing support for a great cause!

Created in June 2004 by Donna Maggos, a breast cancer survivor, with the help of her sister, Susie Ochs, Silver Linings~by Us offers a very unique, beautiful collection of breast cancer/cancer jewelry. "After surgery, chemotheraphy and radiation treatment, I am cancer-free. I am now on a mission to do everything in my power to raise awareness, funds for research and speak out on the importance of self exams, early diagnosis and treatment. Silver Linings~by Us has created a platform for me to do speaking engagements while also raising funds through the sales of the collection (a portion of all proceeds is donated to research and awareness organizations)."

Many of the designs feature a heart, representing the love it takes to battle cancer. The collection features pendants, charm bracelets, brooches, and earrings created in 925 silver that is rhodium plated (to prevent tarnishing) with channel or pave set with AAA quality, clear and pink, cubic zirconia stones. They also feature a freshwater pearl and quartz collection which includes pendants and bracelets. Each beautifully handcrafted in combinations of white or pink freshwater pearls with natural rose or smokey quartz and accented with a delicate silver ribbon charm.
