Marina, CA (PRWEB) February 21, 2005 -- Serial entrepreneurs acting as CEO coaches will guide start-up companies around the perils of early-stage business development to profitability in a new program announced today by The Marina Technology Cluster (MTC) (www.marinatechnologycluster.org).
Tapping into lessons learned from their own experiences as entrepreneurs -- both successes and failures -- CEO coaches will assist incubator companies with business and product launch, sales and marketing planning, sales-channel identification, public-relations rollout, strategic-alliances development, and fundraising. The coaches will also take the lead in assembling advisory boards to provide assistance to the companies on a variety of start-up challenges.
The CEO Coach Program ratchets up our capacity to turn regional entrepreneurial talent into profitable companies," said Susan Barich, director of the MTC, a technology business incubator operated by the City of Marina and located at the University of Californias MBEST Center.
Bob Vander Woude, a Silicon Valley serial startup executive with more than 20 years of high-technology sales, marketing and investment experience will be the incubators first coach.
We could not have asked for a more energetic or skilled person to launch our CEO-Coach program than Bob Vander Woude," said Barich. Bob brings a depth of startup experience from a career of developing early-stage companies and as founder of DataTools, Inc., a successful enterprise software company."
