
2009 Lehigh Valley Map & Guide Celebrates Tourism Bureau's 25th Anniversary Annual guide helps visitors locate events, attractions, and accommodations in eastern Pennsylvania region (Vocus) February 19, 2009 Lehigh Valley, Pa. -- Wrapped in a large silver ribbon and bow, the 2009 edition of the Lehigh Valley Map & Guide looks like a gift but is actually a comprehensive resource for visitors to the state's third largest metro region. The 52-page guide is a comprehensive overview of activities, events and attractions in the two-county, three-city region in eastern Pennsylvania. This year's brochure includes special features highlighting the 25th year anniversary of Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau. The guide's first five pages feature 25 fun facts about the region followed by a list of 25 famous Lehigh Valleyans. The guide's removable fold-out map includes five separate maps: one of each city's downtown district, a view of eastern Pennsylvania and one of the U.S. Route 22 corridor. A row of coupons attached to the map provide visitors with 11 opportunities to save at select restaurants, hotels and attractions.
