Vintage Yachting Company of Marseilles, Illinois, at the Chicago Maritime Festival

Vintage Yachting Company of Marseilles, Illinois will help sponsor the 2005 Chicago Maritime Festival by donating all profits from sales of it's V.Y.C. cologne that originate from the 2005 event.

Jerry Frick, the founder of Vintage Yachting Company said, "The Chicago Maritime Festival is a very important event and we’re happy to be a part of it. Chicago and the Great Lakes have a rich maritime history and a lot of people don’t realize that".

Chicago has been shaped by her waterways. From the early days of the canoe to the days of sail and steam, the lives of people around the Great Lakes, and many around the world have been touched by the maritime heritage of Chicago. The Chicago Maritime Festival is an international gathering to celebrate Chicago's maritime community. It is a program organized by the Chicago Maritime Society, the Chicago Historical Society, and Common Times. The festival takes place February 26th at the Chicago Historical Society located on Clark Street at North Avenue in Chicago.
