"Ugandan Pastor to speak in South Florida on the Great Move of God"

Covenant Centre International hosts Influential Ugandan Minister

Palm Beach Gardens, FL (PRWEB) February 23, 2005 -- Pastor Jackson Senyonga, one of the Ugandan pastors featured on the popular Transformations 2" video, will be in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on Friday evening, February 25, 7:30 pm to speak about the transformation taking place in Uganda. Pastor Jackson will be speaking at Covenant Centre International.

The Holy Spirit, says Jackson, is bringing changes at the highest levels of the government. New government ministries have been established, including the Ministry of Ethics and Integrity. Christians are being placed in the most sensitive positions. Laws are being rewritten to favor God's principles and Word. Members of parliament are meeting weekly for prayer. Judges acknowledge praying privately. Police often send prayer requests to churches.

The tyrant Idi Amin ruled Uganda from 1971 to 1979, brutally slaughtering hundreds of thousands of people. These were hopeless times as the economy was in shambles and no life was safe. In April 1995, Jackson started Christian Life Church with seven people. By a move of God, they had 2,000 people in two weeks! Seeking God's presence and not church growth, they now have 25,000 people in the church.

Jackson is the guest of Covenant Centre International, and Pastor Norman D. Benz. Covenant Centre International, with a congregation of 750 members, continues to meet at 3970 RCA Blvd, Suite 6003 while permanent facilities are being re-built. Hurricane Francis and Hurricane Jeanne destroyed Covenants building in September 2004.
