COMIC BOOK TEAM-UP! -- ARComics.com and ComicFind.com
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COMIC BOOK TEAM-UP! -- ARComics.com and ComicFind.com
CLEVELAND, OH -- ARComics, Inc. (http://www.arcomics.com - the Cleveland-based animated digital comic e-book publisher) and ComicFind http://www.comicfind.com named "Best Comic-Book Locator" by the publication "Yahoo! Internet Life") have joined forces bringing the best in digital comics and print comics closer together.
"This is the kind of synergy that both our companies look for as we continue to expand our notoriety in the real world and the virtual world," Keith Rivers, V.P. of Marketing and Promotions for ARComics, Inc. stated, "ComicFind.com is an excellent web application centered around the finding, buying and selling of print comics on a national level and we share some very obvious customer demographics." Rivers went on to say, "And now we plan to share this knowledge with the clientele of our respective websites that may not have known that the other existed."
According to Greg Ferguson, ComicFind Technologist, "Traditional print comics and the future of digital comics being created at ARComics.com can peacefully co-exist, and we are proving that every day through the cross-promotion between our two sites. We are very pleased with our results so far and look forward to us both serving the comic book and internet community."
Ferguson explained how items are submitted to the ComicFind.com database from retailers and collectors that are geographically located around the world. Advanced searching of the database and sorting of results (by title, edition, price range, other keywords) allow for a consumer to easily find the editions/titles they are looking for and upon "check-out" an inquiry is sent to the retailer(s) that offer the item(s) for sale. The actual sales transaction is then completed between the buyer/seller off-line or over email.
ARComics.com offers some of their comic book content in downloadable chapters (keeping customer download time short) now for FREE, or visitors can buy content via secure transaction through PayPal (for only 45¢ for both PC & Macintosh platforms). ARComics.com also features, information about the characters and art galleries for each title.
