Longtime Latin Radio Host Recieves Emmy Nod

The nomination for on-camera talent in the Performer/narrator came to a wonderful surprise to the beloved Latin Radio Host

New York City, NY- February 20, 2009-- Alma Entertainment and A-PRmedia Group announces the EMMY Nomination of Luis Jimenez, on-air radio host of the popular morning comedy show "The Luis Jimenez show". It also comes as a first ever for a Latin radio host to be nominated in this category. The nomination for on-camera talent in the Performer/narrator category is based on vignettes that the longtime radio host produces. Upon hearing of his nomination Luis Jimenez had this to say "I was in total shock when I heard the news. To receive such a nomination especially when it was something that was for pure entertainment and having so much fun producing it, its surreal."

Luis Jimenez joined the Univision Radio family in 2006 bringing his brand of humor to an even broader platform. He can be heard Monday through Friday from 5:00am - 11:0am. His show is syndicated in several markets including his hometown, Puerto Rico.

The 52nd annual New York Emmy awards gala will be held on Sunday March 29th 2009 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel times Square Ballroom at 5:00pm.
