Heads Up Technology Coming to Go-Karting

"Top Gun" technology is coming to local race tracks - as two pioneering companies join forces to create the world's first Heads Up display unit for go-karting.

(PRWEB) March 5, 2005 -- Heads Up technology previously available only to Top Gun and other military pilots will soon be available to kart enthusiasts! The innovaters of the world's first consumer Heads Up display technology are teaming up with a leader in racing data acquisition products to create the worlds first Heads Up display unit for go-karts.

Motion Researchs powerful, patented SportVue display system will soon be integrated with a new Digatron product. The result will be a high-tech performance tool, giving racers a constant view of speed, rpm, lap time and other critical information in a personal display right inside their helmet, focused at infinity. This breakthrough technology frees the rider from distracting glances down at dash-mounted displays.

The new karting product is now in development. Motion Research has already released a Heads Up display system for motorcycles, the SportVue MC1, available on-line at www.sportvue.com. A Heads Up product for bicycles will debut later this year.

Motion Research Corporation is an information display systems and monitoring solutions provider for the sports and industrial markets. The company is based in Seattle, Washington.

Digatron is a manufacturer of Data Acquisition Systems for Performance Engines, based in Spokane, WA.
