OnceWritten.com, a site for new and emerging fiction writers, offers its semi-annual short story contest, with a grand prize of $1,000.

OnceWritten.com, a website devoted to promoting the works of new and emerging authors, has announced the deadline for its Fall Fiction Contest. The contest, which features a $1,000 grand prize and one $100 first prize is seeking high-quality short stories with a maximum of 5,000 words from new and established writers. The contest deadline is April 30, and a reading fee of $15 applies.

OnceWritten.com offers two annual general fiction contests, two annual poetry contests, and an annual horror/Halloween contest, and has already awarded more than $4,000 in cash prizes to emerging authors.
