Angel Mehta to Deliver Keynote National Business and Technology Conference 2005

Sterling-Hoffman CEO to discuss Psychology of Entrepreneurship

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) March 18, 2005 -- Sterling-Hoffman announced today that its founder and CEO, Angel Mehta will give the keynote address at the National Business and Technology Conference (NBTC) in Toronto on March 19, 2005.

Angel Mehtas keynote will focus on technology entrepreneurship and the business risks and psychological issues that would-be entrepreneurs should consider before attempting to create a startup. Most people become entrepreneurs without really understanding whats involved," said Mr. Mehta. Theyre so focused on the pot of gold, they forget they might get killed trying to get to the end of the rainbow. Young people in particular need to understand that as entrepreneurs, they will probably end up working longer hours for less pay -- especially in the early years." The keynote will draw on Mr. Mehtas experience with Silicon Valley venture capitalists and entrepreneurs through the dotcom bubble and subsequent market crash.

Hosted by the University of Toronto, NBTC 2005 is Canada s premier conference focused on the intersection of business and technology, with a strong emphasis on innovation philosophy, startup management strategy, and finance for young entrepreneurs. The event will feature speakers from a cross section of the technology industry, including private equity, IT Services, and human capital. In addition, this years conference will include a case study competition for business students from across the country. The event is sponsored by Microsoft, Deloitte, Telus, Nortel and other leading enterprises.
