Xxavier T. Knows Safe Sex

Xxavier T.s humor infused relationship column serves up a large dose of reality.

Author and relationship expert, Xxavier T., recently inked a deal with Offline Magazine to create a relationship column that would appeal to its urban audience. After coaching such readers as To Three or Not To Three, Moaning Glory and Sand Trapped, the author is being lauded for her sage advice.

Love'em or Leave'em, Xxavier's column, is like Carrie Bradshaw meets Dr Ruth. It's trendy, yet self-empowering, artistic, yet enlightening. Xxavier believes that it is very important to convey personal responsibility when it comes to love and sexual play. "I want people to understand that they have choices when it comes to their relationships, what those choices are and the ramifications of those choices."

AIDS is the leading cause of death among Blacks between the ages of 25 and 44, and this age group comprises the bulk of the magazine's middle class demographic. Xxavier's background in the upscale gentleman's clubs of Bourbon Street gives her a unique perspective. The majority of my clients were professionals, and many had advance degrees. Unfortunately, education level does not always correlate in to knowledge of safe sexual practices. Hopefully, my column will help to illuminate this concern."

Offline Magazine is the Spin-off of Neworleansblack.com, New Orleans number one rated African-American web portal and is owned by Ebonetworks. The magazine currently has a larger distribution than any other locally owned African-American magazine or periodical.
