
University of California, Berkeley's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology Publishes Global Technology Leaders Roadmap Roadmap Presents Major Initiatives from Academia and Industry Addressing Energy & Technology as well as Health & Quality of Life Berkeley, Calif. (PRWEB) March 6, 2009 The University of California, Berkeley's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology today unveiled the Global Technology Leaders Roadmap, which offers research-based solutions to some of the world's most significant challenges. Presented at the inaugural A. Richard Newton Global Technology Leaders Conference at UC Berkeley in November 2008 by luminaries from a range of disciplines, the initiatives identify pathways to solutions in the health sciences, energy and technology fields. The Global Technology Leaders Roadmap addresses the expected social impact, industry size and time required to mainstream adoption of solutions to each challenge. Posted today on the website of the UC Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (http://cet.berkeley.edu), the roadmap features a set of short videos introducing each roadmap initiative by the academic and industry experts. The goal of the Global Technology Leaders Conference is to identify meaningful problem areas that are not only worth solving, but are also likely to result in new industry. Richard Newton Global Technology Leaders Conference will be held this year on November 19 during Global Entrepreneurship Week, held November 16 - 22.
