April 30th at the Lansing Center. (PRWEB) March 25, 2005 -- The National Work at Home Mom Association is a non profit association. We are currently lobbying congress for tax breaks for companies who outsource more work. We provide resources; find legitimate work at home opportunities. Fight work at home related scams. The NWAHMA is the Watch Dog for work at home moms.
Currently the National Work at Home Mom Association has plans to visit 29 cities across the nation and in Canada. The association produces these events as a way to promote its advocacy and lobby work. These events are fundraising events for the NWAHMA.
The National Work at Home Mom Association is a certifying organization for President Bushs Volunteer Awards Program and is currently working on a pilot project with the US Department of Labors Womens Bureau to help provide a free financial course for women called Wise Up.
Lynn Phelps, Founding President and CEO offers free booth space to other business association and non profits as a professional Courtesy at these events. We feel that if we all work together, we can make a huge difference in society says Lynn Phelps. Membership in the association is open to anyone who would like to network with others and join together to help find solutions to the many problems that mothers face in todays society. The Association has members that are moms but they also have members that are dads, grandparents, or companies.
