Time Out Before Burn Out" Retreat to be Held April 29--May1st" LONG BEACH, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2005 -- Like the rest of America, Southern Californians are working much too hard, placing personal health and career success on a disastrous crash-course. Fortunately for Southern California women, there is a remedy: The Art of Rest. Jordan Mercedes, founder of the Long Beach, CA-based company, faced personal exhaustion and burnout after 17 years in marketing and event planning for clients including Borders Books & Music and Tenet Hospitals in Southern California. I looked at my colleagues and realized we were all accustomed to breakneck, overcommitted schedules dedicated to career, family, friends, volunteerism-anything and everything except time for ourselves."
