Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Bogotá Deliver Seminars to Flood Victims

Scientology Volunteer Ministers, who traveled to Southeastern Colombia to aid flood victims, stayed to provide support through education.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2009

Scientology Volunteer Ministers from Bogotá arrived in Southeastern Colombia last year in response to a call for help from a local mayor.

The first order of business was to provide for the immediate needs of flood victims: food, water and shelter. But, befriending the people they were helping, the Scientology volunteers soon learned of other problems they faced on a daily basis, even in the best of times. So once the disaster was under control they set up a series of seminars, based on the Scientology Handbook. The highest priority of the people of the area was their children -- how to care for them and provide for their needs.

The Scientology Handbook is a compilation of the works of L. Ron Hubbard, providing practical help to resolve such things as job stress, relationship problems, drug addiction, communication trouble and study difficulties.

Free seminars are just one of the services Scientology Volunteer Ministers offer to any group or organization. These are described and can be requested at the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site at http://www.volunteerministers.org.
