Saving land through art is a passion for Jeff Fioravanti who has often stated I am painting today, to preserve the past, for tomorrow." Jeff donates a portion of the sales from his art towards the historic preservation of America, thus honoring the values of courage of those that lived and died.

An expressive realist painter, Jeff depicts scenes of the nations historic battlefields and lands that are not only representations of the subject but also evoke an idealized view of the terrible suffering which occurred there.

His deft use of pastels to create historic landscapes connects the viewer intimately with a way of life; a rural life that we yearn for yet eludes us. They entice and stimulate the viewer to make an emotional and personal connection to each piece.

There are nineteen original pastels in Mr. Fioravantis featured show and nine framed Giclée prints. A Giclée is a digital inkjet print using continuous tone technology. These prints render deep saturated colors and thus maintain the painterly quality of the original art. It is the highest quality print available today. All of the original pastels are of Adams County with a particular focus placed on scenes from the Gettysburg National Military Park.

Jeff is a technically sound and gifted artist, who has shown his talents in regional, national, and international exhibitions, receiving many top honors and awards. Included in his honors and awards are inclusion in Whos Who in America," the Michael Allen Company Award Best in Show" at the 7th annual Renaissance in Pastel national juried exhibition, West Hartford, CT., First Place Pastels on Cape Cod" national juried exhibition, Chatham, MA. He has received many other top honors as the result of his participation in these exhibition shows.
