Leonardo Academy's President to Speak at the 2009 Chesapeake Green Building Expo, March 24-26, Sponsored by USGBC's Maryland Chapter

Leonardo Academy has announced that Michael Arny, President, will speak at the 2009 Chesapeake Green Building Expo, held March 24-26, in Elkridge, Maryland.

Michael Arny, President of Leonardo Academy, will present "LEED for Existing Buildings - A Case Study: Clinton Library" on Wednesday, March 25, from 3-4 PM at the 2009 Chesapeake Green Building Expo in Elkridge, Maryland. The event is sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council's Maryland Chapter, and will include over 70 booths and tables, two days of seminars and demonstrations, and a food court featuring "green" catering. Leonardo Academy will also have a booth at the event.

Featured as the "Father of LEED-EB," Michael Arny will also present a LEED-EB pre-expo workshop "Getting Started with LEED-EB: Challenges and Opportunities." LEED-EB (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings) provides a framework for achieving continuous operational improvements in all existing commercial and institutional buildings.
