Online Writer’s Program Launches

New Group Offers Blog Promotion and training for Published Authors

(PRWEB) April 5, 2005

Writers of all kinds have the same problem: how to let the world know about their work. Whether they’ve got a novel, nonfiction, or a volume of poetry available, it’s not always clear to new authors what to do next.

As the world of publishing changes, authors find themselves needing to take on the lion’s share of promoting their works. In the past, this effort could take far more money and time than was available to an unknown. Using blogs and online networking, the most cash-strapped of writers can find their community of potential readers and reach out in ways never before possible.

Wolves, in conjunction with Writer Online Magazine is now offering training and hands-on experience in promotion and marketing for published authors. Using group online events, where each author can begin almost immediately promoting their work, and group discussion along with more-traditional study materials, participants can take advantage of the best of both the online and offline worlds.

The six-month program will help students launch their first blogs, as well as teach the basics of working with media, both old and new.

Facilitator for the group is Trudy Schuett, multiblogger and teacher, who is an author of five books herself, both fiction and non-fiction. She has conducted workshops at both the new Communication Forum’s Blog University, held in Napa CA earlier this year, and Arizona Western College, located in Yuma Arizona.
