Shenandoah Valley Technology Council Announces Keynote Speaker for Tech Nite 5.0 The Shenandoah Valley Technology Council, a non-profit membership organization in Harrisonburg, Va announces Robert Liscouski as keynote speaker for Tech Nite 5.0. On April 27th the council will honor twenty nominees for their technology achievement in the Valley. Mr. Liscouski's keynote will focus on the private sector responsibility to assure its infrastructure in partnership with DHS. (PRWEB) April 10, 2005 -- The Shenandoah Valley Technology Council (SVTC), a non-profit membership organization serving the greater Shenandoah Valley, is privileged to announce that Mr. Robert Liscouski, the current CEO of Content Analyst Company , LLC and formerly having served as Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, for the Department of Homeland Security has agreed to join the council for Tech Nite 5.0 [April 27, 2005 as the keynote speaker.
As Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, Mr. Liscouski was responsible for coordination and implementation of the federal governments efforts to identify the nations critical infrastructures and implementation of protective measures to keep it safe from terrorist attacks across 13 critical infrastructure sectors and five Key Resource Areas.
His keynote will focus on the private sector responsibility to assure its infrastructure in partnership with DHS. Mr. Liscouski served in the private sector in senior management positions, most recently as the Director of Information Assurance for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA, as well as a Vice-President, Law Enforcement Division, ORION Scientific Systems and founder and CEO of PoliTech Research, Inc., a firm providing open source research and business intelligence services to Fortune 500 firms.
Tech Nite 5.0, the 5th annual Technology Awards Gala, will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the JMU College Center in Harrisonburg from 5:30 pm -- 9:30 pm. This year, twenty high-achieving Valley innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs and educators are competing for six technology awards.
