Richard Friesen is a former pit trader from the futures exchanges in Chicago, and former director at the Pacific Stock Exchange. He built a software company, ePIT Systems, that produced Internet exchange software. He is the author of articles on the psychology of trading and has written a book on stock derivatives. He has a BA in philosophy, a master's degree in clinical psychology and trained at the Gestalt Institute.
