New XML Query Language and Query Engine

XML (Extensible Markup Language) is a popular data exchange and storage format and is widely incorporated into various solutions. With XML, it is easy to define document types, easy to author and manage documents over multiple platforms, such as Windows or UNIX, and easy to transmit and share them across the Web. The problem is that it is difficult to extract data from the original XML documents.

To simplify how developers and end users work with XML data sources, GlobusData has developed a new XML query language called qxLanguage. This language is much easier than any existing tool on the market, and is the only language that can be used both by programmers and non-programmers alike due to its simple, concise and intuitive syntax; qxLanguage uses SQL-like constructs for self-describing codes and provides full support to XPath and XSLT. Even though it is a proprietary language, it is compliant and compatible with existing XML standards governed by W3 Consortium (http://www.w3.org/)

GlobusData offers queryXML -- a powerful XML data access toolkit which uses qxLanguage syntax to query XML structure.

Tools can be used as a standalone application, or can be integrated as a component into XML -- enabled information systems and applications. queryXML is supplied as a DLL, graphical desktop tool, online tool, and WEB Service.
