APS is a leading international developer and supplier of practice software to progressive accounting firms, while Billback Systems develops and markets a range of expense management and cost recovery systems predominantly to the legal services market. The combined APS Billback professional practice software business will turn over in excess of £16 million.

APS has offices in the UK, Australia and New Zealand while Billback has offices in the UK, Australia and the United States. The merger follows the acquisition of Billback Systems by APS's Australian parent, Reckon Limited, in January 2009 for £8.5 million.
