EmpowerTech Executive Director Joan Anderson commented, "Everything we do at EmpowerTech is geared toward helping individuals living with disabilities become more independent, and preparing them to succeed in the workforce. An important part of that mission involves educating potential employers and about the positive impact our program graduates can have on their companies. By addressing fundamental labor and employment issues, we believe we can help create opportunities for our graduates and for all individuals with disabilities." Labor and employment attorney Alfred Klein, who has been named as a SuperLawyer in his field since 2004, and is a partner in the Los Angeles law firm Rodi Pollock Pettker Christian & Pramov, will lead the program which will dispel some of the misconceptions about labor issues pertaining to the employment of individuals with disabilities.
