Republic West Supports Angels on Call: No Cost Home Repair Services for Eligible Homeowners

Republic West, Inc. in combination with Stardust Building Supplies (a non-profit organization providing low cost building supplies) supports the efforts of Angels On Call. The Angels on Call organization provides no cost home repair services for eligible homeowners.

Phoenix, AZ (Vocus) April 10, 2009

Republic West, Inc. announces its continued support of the Angels on Call program providing no cost home repair services for eligible homeowners. Republic West currently donates all usable building supplies (including appliances, windows, doors, cabinets, etc.) taken from Republic West remodeling projects. They are donated to Stardust in order to further the efforts of Angels on Call. (Republic West customers are encouraged to take advantage of tax deductions for the donation.)

Stardust Building Supplies is a non-profit organization providing low cost building materials through two retail centers in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Stardust's revenue is used to fund the Angels on Call program to aid homeowners. Usable building materials gathered are placed in a storage facility for Stardust pickup.

Angels Helping Angels Home Makeover:
Republic West also donated time to the Angels on Call organization during the 2nd Annual Angels Helping Angels Home Makeover. Republic West labor and material donation helped make the three week project a success. Republic West, Angels on Call and several other local companies were able to successfully provide a local woman and her 2 grandchildren with a home makeover valued at over $75,000.

Project specifics included exterior door replacement (front and back), drywall repair/replacement throughout the home (due to severe damage from plumbing and electrical problems).

Kathleen Dominguez, homeowner, says, "It's just going to be fantastic. Just knowing that I can lock the door and it's going to stay locked while giving them breakfast in the new kitchen."
