Health Savings Account (HSA) Database of Providers Launched by Great Lakes HSA - The Database Features the Largest and Most Comprehensive List of HSA Providers

Great Lakes HSA launched an enhanced website featuring the largest and most comprehensive list of HSA providers, searchable by all 50 states. Although HSAs have been around since January of 2004, a comprehensive listing of HSA providers, searchable by state has not existed. In addition, it lists the total fees customers should expect to pay in the first year with each HSA account.

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) April 24, 2005 -- Great Lakes HSA launched an enhanced website featuring the largest and most comprehensive list of HSA providers, searchable by all 50 states. Although HSAs have been around since January of 2004, we get 20 calls a day from people in California, Washington and even one American living in Australia, who have no idea where they can open an HSA in their state," said James Snyder, Great Lakes HSAs, President.

Great Lakes enrollment for the first quarter of 2005 was more then four times greater than enrollment for all of 2004. "To accommodate the significant increase in demand, we redesigned our website to better serve our customers' needs," said Andrew Sabatos, Director of online marketing at Great Lakes HSA. A majority of our clients are located in the Great Lakes and northeast, although we would like everyone to be Great Lakes clients, we understand the company or individual in California might want their HSA administrator closer to home then Ohio. In addition, we believe this approach will allow us to better serve the customers in our primary marketplace."

We believe this database will increase sales in our core market, while also helping the entire industry. "We have included new features and information on our website that the consumer has been waiting for since January 2004, said Sabatos.

New enhancements consist of a new interactive tool, which assists individuals in finding a HSA in their own city or state. In addition, it lists the total fees customers should expect to pay in the first year with each HSA account. "First year fees can range from 0 to over $185 for basically the same product. The price difference between providers is amazing."

Great Lakes HSA is soon to launch an advanced HSA-analysis tool that will give clients the ability to analyze their options before they setup their account. Further details will soon be announced explaining this new feature. I think our clients will be very surprised by the features and results of this new online tool," said James Snyder.

Great Lakes will be rolling out several new website enhancements in the next month, which includes: a personalized web page for each company and a never seen before HSA analysis and savings tools for large organizations.

Great Lakes HSA serves customers in 48 states and was one of the first companies to offer full-service HSA administration and support. For more information about Great Lakes HSA, visit the website at www.greatlakeshsa.com.
