The Board of Directors for the LA Femme Film Festival today confirmed, Eva Longoria, as this years Celebrity Board member for the LA Femme Film Festival.

Recently voted one of People en Espanol's "25 Most Beautiful People" and an ALMA Award winner for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama for her role on "The Young and the Restless," Eva Longoria currently plays Gabrielle Solis, the ex-model who has everything in life shes ever wanted in the hit television series Desperate Housewives" on ABC. Longoria flexes her comedic muscles in "Hot Tamales Live," a critically- acclaimed comedy and variety show at The Comedy Store, in which she co-produces. Previously she celebrated her theater debut in the popular farce, "What the Rabbi Saw." She is currently working on an independent feature written and directed by David Ayer (Training Day") in which she co-stars opposite Christian Bale and Freddy Rodriguez. This summer, Longoria will be shooting a film in a co-starring role in Sentinel," opposite Michael Douglas, Keifer Sutherland and Kim Basinger for Regency/Fox, written by George Nolfi (Oceans Twelve") and directed by Clark Johnson (S.W.A.T.").
