The Webby Awards Select LEVEL Studios as Official Honoree

LEVEL Studios (level-studios.com), an independent digital agency, announced that the 13th Annual Webby Awards recognized NAMCO BANDAI's Afro Samurai video game website as an Official Honoree in the "Games-Related" category. LEVEL designed and built the site, which features large amounts of original art work in Maya, After Effects and Flash.

San Luis Obispo, CA (PRWEB) April 20, 2009 -- LEVEL Studios (level-studios.com), an independent digital agency, announced that the 13th Annual Webby Awards recognized NAMCO BANDAI's Afro Samurai video game website as an Official Honoree in the "Games-Related" category. LEVEL designed and built the site, which features large amounts of original art work in Maya, After Effects and Flash.

The Afro Samurai franchise started as an animated TV series on Spike TV, backed by the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Liu and Mark Perlman. Based on the success of the TV series, NAMCO BANDAI Games released the Afro Samurai video game in the United States in January 2009. Both are based on the Japanese animated series of the same name.
