Neslo Software, Inc. Releases Desktop Rover Version 3.1

Desktop Rover -- allows you to group all your Windows computers into a single virtual desktop and control them with one computers mouse and keyboard. Clipboard data is shared between computers as well.

Lindon, UT (PRWEB) May 5, 2005 -- Neslo Software, Inc., provider of specialized software tools to help users work more efficiently with multiple computers, announces the availability of Desktop Rover version 3.1.

New in version 3.1 is an intuitive graphical UI to configure the desktop group. Computers are represented as rectangles that can be positioned (with mouse or arrow keys) to best represent the actual locations of monitors with respect to each other. The actual size/resolution of the monitors is preserved. Computers with dual or multiple monitors are automatically discovered, so configuration is much simpler for multi-monitor systems.

There is no longer a single computer that is configured to be the keyboard/mouse server. All computers in the group can act as the server. Whichever computer you sit at (using its keyboard and mouse) can act as the server. In fact, two computers can simultaneously control a third computer in the group, making it a very unique tool for collaborative projects or pair programming.

The Pocket PC client now supports VGA devices.

Pricing and Availability

Desktop Rover v3.1 can be downloaded from www.neslosoftware.com. A License is required for each computer on which the software is installed, but you can try it free for two weeks. The free trial is limited to 2 computers or one computer and one Pocket PC in a group. A Pocket PC Only" license is available for $19 that allows the user to install to one computer and one pocket device. The full version of Desktop Rover that supports multiple computers and/or pocket devices in a group is $24.00 per license when 2 are purchased (Licenses can be purchased online). Volume discounts apply when 3 or more licenses are purchased.
