Fusion Hip-Hop Group, "Karmacy", to be Covered by New MTV Network at the Key Club in Hollywood

The brand new MTV network, "MTV Desi", will be documenting the begining of the highly anticipated USA tour of fusion hip hop group, "Karmacy". The event is set for Saturday May 14th at the Key Club in Hollywood.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 6, 2005 -- The highly anticipated US tour of fusion hip-hop group Karmacy (Rukus Avenue) will commence, Saturday May 14th, 2005 at the world famous Key Club in Hollywood, CA. The event will be covered in documentary format by MTV Networks' new, "MTV Desi", concept -targeting young So. Asians stateside.

The climax of the evening will feature a live performance of Karmacy's debut album, "The Movement", best described as a fusion of ancient tradition, culture with modern social critique, expression (hip hop).

Amongst the other highlights of the night include the World Premiere of the Karmacy video Blood Brothers and the Rukus Avenue debut from R&B vocalist Jason Joseph.

The show will kickoff with the critically acclaimed documentary by Raeshem Nijjon entitled "Brown Like Dat" Raeshem was recently featured in the influential hip hop magazine XXL, in which she talks about the growing movement of South Asian hip hop.

Dj Yashraj will entertain throughout the evening, while Dj Bladez will close the night after the Karmacy performance.

Doors will open at 7:00 pm for cocktails and artist interaction.

Ages 21+ Tickets are $20 presale, $25 at door.

A complimentary copy of, "The Movement", will be available to attendees at the conclusion of the evening.
