No More Rip-Off Ringtones -- Its Official

A new ringtone blog has recently been set up to tackle unofficial and 'rip off' ringtones. The site directs serious music fans to shops which offer ringtone content created by the labels and artists themselves.

(PRWEB) May 7, 2005 -- A new ringtone blog has recently been set up to help mobile users separate the good tones from the bad.

The blog, which can be found at www.ringtonereleases.com, directs readers to mobile shops that sell poly, true and mono ringtones direct from the artists and labels.

The main aim of the blog is to steer people away from sites offering dogs dinner cover tones and poorly made polys. Ringtonereleases.com isnt directing you to cute canaries or crazy frogs, its directing you to serious mobile content for those serious about their music. All the recommended sites offer tones which are created in partnership with the labels and artists themselves. These are what you could call 'official' ringtones.

The author, known only as Red Eye from London, claims that he/she has set up the blog because he/she is 'sick of unofficial rip offs.

Current recommended sites include Lemon Jelly, Dizzee Rascal and Franz Ferdinand.
