Up-and-Coming Philanthropic Leaders Named 2009 Hull Fellows The Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF) has named its 2009 class of Hull Fellows. The only program of its kind in the nation, the Hull Fellows Program was established by SECF in 2000 to nurture, inspire and strengthen the Southeast region's emerging leaders in philanthropy. The selective program recognizes newer foundation staff and board members who have demonstrated strong leadership in their careers and in their communities. Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) May 1, 2009 -- The Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF) has named its 2009 class of Hull Fellows. The Hull Fellows will convene throughout 2009 to study the historic roots and traditions of philanthropy, new perspectives on philanthropic issues and the specific challenges and opportunities of Southern philanthropy.
The Southeastern Council of Foundations is a membership association of over 350 grantmaking foundations and programs in 11 states. SECF promotes both excellence in the field of philanthropy and the creation of new philanthropic resources to benefit the Southeast.
