New for SID 2009 (Booth 583), Digital View's SVX-1920 is a fully buffered, multi-sync interface controller providing true 10-bit support for large format, high-definition TFT LCDs upto WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution. 10-Bit support enables the display of over 1 Billion colors on a compatible LCD panel.

New for SID 2009, the SVX-1920 is the latest in Digital View's high performance class of LCD controllers. Designed to comply with the strict standards of professional environments, the SVX-1920 supports the advanced capability needs of OEM manufacturers in the broadcast, medical, marine, military, avionics, industrial and digital signage markets.

In common with other Digital View controller products, the SVX-1920 is extremely flexible with built-in, jumper-controlled, multi-panel support and a wide range of inputs (including HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video & Composite - with HDCP support on the HDMI & DVI ports).

The picture-in-picture offers full flexibility of size and position - the full-screen, programmable OSD menu enables on-screen frame markers and on-screen messaging - and an onboard ethernet port delivers network/web system monitoring and control.

The SVX-1920 also uniquely offers a range of high feature bolt-on options : the HD-3000 plug-in enables 3G HD-SDI input ; the IE-1000 plug-in enables 120Hz support through a 10-bit adaptor for 4-channel LVDS panels ; the DisplayMark plug-in provides a compliance and reporting mechanism for monitoring video playout on LCD displays.

Supports 640 x 480 to 1920x1200 panel resolution & true 10-bit panels. Standard inputs are HDMI & DVI (with HDCP support), VGA, S-Video, Composite video - with support for PAL/NTSC/SECAM video. Delivers full screen OSD, including On Screen Marker - with full RS-232 control and IR control. Power support is 12/24VDC input power & output power for 3.3/5/12/18V panels.

Additional functionality offered includes; 120Hz panels through IE-1000, 3G HD-SDI through HD-3000, on-screen compliance monitoring through DisplayMark, Ethernet Monitor Management through IP-50. I2C (master and slave) & Tally support will be available from June 2009.
