Motorcyclist Receives Large Personal Injury Settlement

Mr. Cunningham was traveling eastbound on Kiest Blvd. when an unknown vehicle sideswiped him causing him to lose control of his motorcycle. Mr. Cunningham was severely injured in the accident. The driver of the unknown vehicle did not stop and there were not witnesses to the accident.

The police report listed as factors and conditions" contributing to the accident that Mr. Cunningham was driving inattentively and was speeding. The police report did not mention an unknown driver.

GEICO insurance company, which insured Mr. Cunningham for uninsured motorist coverage argued that there may not be coverage, that the accident may have been Mr. Cunninghams fault pursuant to the police report and that Mr. Cunningham had provided conflicting recorded statements.
