The Libertarian Party of California Announces The Libertarian Perspective

The Libertarian Party of California announces it will be distributing a weekly liberty-oriented Op-Ed column to newspaper editors statewide

(PRWEB) May 17, 2005 -- Beginning Tuesday May 24th, the Libertarian Party of California will be sending an Op-Ed column to editors of California newspapers every week.

"The Libertarian Perspective", an Op-Ed column "syndicated" by the Media Relations committee of the Libertarian Party of California, is the product of a writers' bureau consisting of highly talented authors from all walks of life; from professional writers and academicians to musicians and technologists. They hail from all corners of the state of California.

The common thread connecting these dozen or so writers is they all believe strongly in freedom and individual liberty. Rather than taking the view that the government is the solution to every problem, they believe that the way to greater civil harmony and economic prosperity is to empower the individuals in our society to make their own decisions; on what they do with their time, on how they spend the proceeds of their labor, on who they associate with in politics, love, work, and leisure, and on many other facets of life currently relegated in ever increasing degrees to the State.

Columns will be distributed by email every Tuesday morning before the start of business, at no cost to the recipients. These works, copyrighted by the Libertarian Party of California, are released to the public domain under a very non-restrictive license (see links, above and below), making it easy for print and digital media sources to publish them.
