Seminar for Women Only Jonathan Smith, MD will be joining Dr. Carolle as a keynote speaker at the "Is It My Hormones or Something Else?" Seminar for Women Only on July 25, 2009 in San Diego, CA. Dr. Smith who is now a financial consultant will be speaking on financial issues of importance to women and what can be done to survive the current financial times. San Diego, CA (Vocus) May 14, 2009 -- Health Through Communications Foundation, a non-profit corporation (www.healththroughcommunications.org) is presenting Carolle Jean-Murat, MD, board-certified gynecologist and best selling author in a special one day event in San Diego, CA on July 25, 2009 called "Is It My Hormones or Something Else (http://www.isitmyhormones.com/): Understanding what is happening to my mind, body, & soul and what to do about it". This event will focus on real life hormone solutions plaguing women and wreaking havoc on their lives.
She will be joined on stage by Jonathan Smith, MD Financial Consultant, affiliated with Five Rings Financial, as a special luncheon speaker.
These are troubling times. There is a lot of bad news about money. We know that stress can affect our mental and physical health. It is no surprise that financial problems cause people to neglect their health, and that the stress of financial problems may harm your well being (http://www.isitmyhormones.com/).
In these days of economic uncertainty, the old adage of "working hard, save, retire, then have a good life" does not apply to many.
Even those who abide by these rules find themselves in economical crisis, worrying about losing their jobs, homes, health insurance, watching their 401K turning into a 201K is not OK at all! For many, watching the news and watching their neighborhood fill with foreclosure signs, are asking themselves "am I next?" it can be very nerve-wracking, and anxiety provoking.
Some find themselves unemployed, or having to go back to work because their spouses have lost their jobs, getting out of retirement, having to join a competitive job market with shrinking jobs even for the young, and sometimes unable to attend to their family needs.
When these situations occur, many feel a sense of helpless and hopeless. Eventually this will take a toll on their emotional and physical health.
This is what Dr. Smith, a retired anesthesiologist and now a financial consultant has to say, "Add to that with the fact that the Medical Profession has allowed people in general to live longer, but not necessarily healthier; and women live longer than men, and that relatively few women have had experience in money management, and the scene becomes even scarier!"
"What's a poor gal to do?"
Dr. Smith continues, "In my talk I will explain why the current situation may be extremely stressful to many of us, to the point of affecting our health and wellbeing; and to try to give to those attending some peace of mind, some hope, and some choices on what I think they can do to make things easier, and better for themselves; information that they can use to change from being a 'slave to your money, to becoming a master of your money'. I have a sense of humor, and what I say may sound silly, however it is my way of coping with these serious issues, and create some understanding with a different point of view. My goal is to make it as fun and as simple as 1,2,3."
Carolle Jean-Murat, MD, known as Dr. Carolle (www.drcarolle.com), is a Hormone Expert, best selling author, medical intuitive, board-certified gynecologist and primary care provider with experience as a holistic practitioner who has been helping women from all walks of life for almost three decades.
The seminar will focus on important issues to women like, anger, weight gain, anxiety, depression, fatigue hot flashes, irregular bleeding, memory problems, sexual problems, weight problems, cravings, sleep disturbances and other medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart palpitations, and more.
Unfortunately, now on every talk show, including on Oprah and the Dr. Phil women from age 35 and up are who are experiencing any of these symptoms are told that it is because of hormone imbalance. These women are urged to take charge of their lives, go to their doctors, ask for hormone levels and then use bioidentical hormones to correct the imbalance and all would be okay.
Dr. Carolle's experience has been that emotional and physical symptoms in many cases are related to their stress level, the sense of hopelessness and helplessness with little control over events occurring in their lives - not their hormones!
The seminar is being attended by women from all walks of life and is an excellent opportunity for women to network and find real life solutions (http://www.isitmyhormones.com/) to their problems.
Women wanting more information on this event or to register can go to www.isitmyhormones.com. Women can register on line or by call the phone number on the site.
Dr. Carolle will also be signing copies of her book at the event. Seating is limited so early registration is recommended.
She is available for speaking engagements and media interviews internationally. Media may request a copy of her award-winning and best selling books, "Menopause Made Easy" or "Mind, Body, Soul & Money - Putting Your Life in Balance."
