Men's Health Magazine Names Hyper Vest® Best Weight Vest Hyper Wear is pleased to announce that Men's Health Magazine (May 2009) and Muscle and Fitness (June 2009) have included special write ups on the Hyper Vest weighted vest. Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- Men's Health features the Hyper Vest in a pop-out within an article by fitness expert Alwyn Cosgrove, C.S.C.S., titled "Build Muscle from All Angles" that begins with a picture of Jason Statham making a human flag look easy. Included in the description of the product is the Men's Health assessment that the Hyper Vest weight vest is "…the best we've found…"
In Muscle and Fitness, the Hyper Vest is pictured side by side with the Xvest and the Vmax weight vests. The Hyper Vest is described as "Ideal for multi-plane movement…" and "…so thin it fits under a T-shirt." Muscle and Fitness also cites the Hyper Vest's proprietary wicking fabric that holds the weights comfortably and tightly to your core. These distinct attributes give it a clear edge over the competition.
Hyper Wear's Hyper Vest and SandBell™ sandbag weights have already been selected for strength and conditioning training at leading professional and NCAA Division One programs such as the Houston Rockets, the University of Texas and Auburn University.
Because the vest is low profile and stays tight to the core, athletes can wear it under their pads or jerseys in practice as well as under a regular shirt during the day. It does not get in the way, chaff, or inhibit movement in any way. It simply adds a little more resistance to every move made, therefore building the muscle needed in actual game play and life situations.
Inventor of the Hyper Vest and owner of Hyper Wear, Cosmo Raines, explains, "The same principles apply to becoming faster and stronger for any sport and for any athlete or even to the adult walker or runner who wants the best walk vest or run vest on the market. Wearing the Hyper Vest allows athletes to bring the weight room to the field."
The SandBells are excellent for use in the weight room, on the gym floor, and even out on the turf. Highly versatile in application, the SandBells challenge athletes in activities ranging from reaction skills to classic clean and press moves to stability work.
Shifting sand within the SandBell provides extra challenge and builds grip strength. Raines points out, "Unlike kettlebells and dumbbells, players on the opponent's team don't come with handles, so it just makes sense to train with something that mimics the feel and motion of an opponent."
