The Performer's Academy All Day Summer Camp Musical Theatre, Dance, Fitness, Arts & Crafts.

(PRWEB) May 25, 2005 -- The Performers Academy is offering a full day camp program starting July 11th and will run weekly.

Camp Director, Tracey Abbott has jam packed each day with fun and excitement for campers ages 6+.

Each week begins with an early drop off and continental breakfast. The campers will be able to participate in a musical theatre production, which will be performed for parents at the end of each week. Productions in Grease, Annie, Willie Wonka, Mama Mia and many others are planned for each week.

In addition, dance classes in lyrical jazz, ballet and hip-hop will be offered. Fitness activities such as yoga, Pilates and cardio boxing are also available including nerf dodge ball. Arts and craft are planned where each week the campers will work on creative and artistic projects. The voice coach will be available for voice lessons and singing sessions.

Traceys projects are always fun. Last year she was camp director for over 1200 children at an all day beach camp in Palos Verdes. She is the musical theatre director at The Performers Academy and has successfully produced all the musical theatre productions for the school. Currently, the production of Greased Lighting will be holding two shows at the Don Crib Theatre in Anaheim on June 4th and 5th.

This summer camp program will be a wonderful experience for all the campers. No only will they get first hand experience in the casting and production of a musical, they will get to participate in it as a performer.

Campers are free to select ancillary activities such as arts, crafts, and fitness or they can choose to work entirely in the acting/performing sessions.

The camp price is $250 per week. There is an extended day fee if children need to remain past 3:30 PM. Sibling discounts are available. The enrollment form is available at www.performersacademy.net .
